This paper was published by and presented at the San Diego State University Student Research Symposium. Under the Support of Paul Kaplan JD Professor of Criminal Studies and public Affairs.
In this graduate research paper I explore the social structure of the criminal world and their means of communicating social order and rank though tattoo art.

Won an educational grant to create educational workshops pertaining to bed bug infestation in El Cajon, CA. I wrote this grant in my position as the Fair Housing Advocate and HR Generalist for the Housing Advocate Group, as a graduate intern.

“The Mask We Wear” 2011
The Mask we Wear is a stream of conscious poetic book. It is illustrated with sketched plates and pressed inked on gauze linen pages. Bound in a delicate cover made of mixed fabric/Egyptian papyrus cover. It is about the delicate and fragile removal of the mask we were to assimilate with society and culture. It is a limited publication of four books. the fist one Is homed in the San Diego State University Library’s Special Collections. The second has been gifted to a dear friend Patricia Washington, one of my favorite mentors. And, the last two are still in my possession.

Honorable Mention
Was a top ten finalist in Tokyo Pop’s fist Rising Star of Manga competition.
This was the first American based manga anthology published by the Japanese comic book giant.

and a trophy
Won grand prize Young New Writer for “Inferno”, a play about a young person who got drunk at prom then proceeded to drive drunk. They end up in a car accident that kills the passengers of the car. They are tied in court, in hell.
The play was produced by San Diego Theater House, and later made into a after-school special.
